Random Talk #08: Unrequited Love

Assalamualaikum and Good morning, everyone.

I'm so sorry for not updating this blog for a long time because of my commitment in study and other important works that hinder me from writing my own prose for a long time. Hahahaha... this prose is inspired when I listen some of the soundtrack from a Hindi film (YES! My cousin insists me to listen these song). Hoping you can give your feedback on this prose and idea to improve my rusty writing skill in the future.

#009 Unrequited Love

Since when I start to doubt myself?
Feeling hopeless with this unrequited love
Neither of us know this feeling
Keep pounding hard like a punch

The soul flaunts with pain
Painstakingly thrust through my heart
Screaming hard to ease the pain
But nobody willing to remove this pain away

Where are you, my friends?
Leaving me in such a devastating state
Ignoring my cries and let me bleed
Bleeds until no ounce of voice can be heard

Trapped within the walls of betrayal
Violating my trust towards you
No longer becoming my Only One
Erasing my existence from your mind and soul

Nevermind, my dear one
Being in an unrequited love has its own risks
Fully aware of its consequences
The detachment of our mementoes

There's no point holding such treasure inside you anymore
No longer being attached by me
Feel free to leave me
Work your life on your own

I only can watch you from afar
Hoping you'll find the Right One
Giving your most beautiful, honest smile
For you who not bind by my own lust

Ease me in peace
Making this the right choice
For me to move on towards my final destination
Sleeping soundless in peace
